A historical moment
Thanks to the sweet Nad for giving me 2 complimentary tickets for this historical moment in Singapore:

Unfortunately, the organisers decided that the public should get a fair chance in viewing the World Cup for the 1st time in Singapore, hence even those without a ticket are allowed to enter, thus ruining the precious 1 hour+ which Nad queued up for. (Doh...but thanks!)
I decided to ask Tay, my formidable partner in army & S-League, to grace this occasion with me.
Before we could actually view the trophy, we were ushered into a viewing theatre to witness an exciting 3D World Cup show to boost our excitment. One of my S-League colleague (whom we bumped into after the show) rated it "Cool". I'll give it a "Dizzy" rating.

Once the show ended, it was a mad rush towards the queue for the 18-carat gold trophy. Each of us took were given instructions before we took our Polaroid shots with the World Cup:
- Stand at the designated spot
- No touching of the Cup
- No touching of the table
- No hand gestures
I did the most poser-ish pose I could lawfully do: folded my arms. Tay put his hands by the side like an obidient soldier.
Unfortunately, my scanner is down, so I could not post that polaroid pictures. Instead, here's a top-secret photo which I've actually managed to hold the World Cup Trophy!

Note the similarities? :P
