Nanny McPhee

With crap movies in theatres right now, such as Date Movie (8%), Big Momma's House (6%) & The Shaggy Dog (31%), it does seem movie-goers be wasting money just to catch a movie this week.

Then again, I'm forgetting Nanny McPhee.

With low publicity in Singapore, yet getting good reviews, Gracey, Missy & I decided to head to town for the show.

Emma Thompson's first screenwriting effort since the Oscar-winning Sense and Sensibility, there was just enough magic from her, both in the script & her role as Nanny McPhee, to make this movie sparkle with delight.

Though I wished she did grant one more wish for me tonight.
